- Profile Information: When an account is created for you, we collect your Name, Institutional Email Address, Phone Number, Department, and systemic Role (e.g., Admin, Supervisor, User).
- Operational Data: We store the content you actively create within the app. This includes maintenance tasks you initiate or complete, inventory items you manage, mess/canteen orders you place, and transport or bus service logs.
- Usage & Diagnostic Data: We automatically collect information regarding how the app is accessed and used. This includes your device model, operating system, IP address, and crash reports. This data is strictly used to fix bugs and improve application performance.
3. Device Permissions
To access core features of the Campus CMMS app, we may request certain permissions on your mobile device. You will be prompted before we access any of the following:
- Push Notifications: We ask for permission to send you alerts regarding newly assigned tasks, task rejections, mess order deliveries, and critical campus updates.
- Device Vibration: Used in conjunction with push notifications to ensure you don't miss important operational alerts.
- Camera/Photo Gallery (If applicable): We may request access so you can upload photos for maintenance task reporting or scan QR codes for inventory management.

- Within Your Institution: Your profile data (Name, Department, Contact) and operational activity (Created Tasks, Assigned Duties) are visible to appropriate personnel within your specific campus organization based on strict permission levels.
- Service Providers: We utilize secure third-party platforms (such as Supabase for database hosting and Firebase/Expo for notifications) to operate the application infrastructure. These providers only process data on our behalf and are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

We retain your personal and operational data only for as long as your account is active or as required by your institution's administrative policies.
